CBSE Class 12 Result Declared Date 2025: All You Need to Know
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is one of the largest education boards in India. Every year, millions of students appear for Class 12 exams conducted by CBSE. Once the evaluation is complete, the board will finalize the results and upload them on its official website.

Click on the link that says “Senior School Certificate Examination (Class XII) Results 2025.” - Enter Details
Enter your roll number, school number, and admit card ID as mentioned on your admit card. - View Result
Click on the ‘Submit’ button. Your result will appear on the screen. - Download and Print
Download the result and take a printout for future reference.
Students can also check their results through the DigiLocker app, UMANG app, or via SMS by following the instructions released by CBSE.
The online result or marksheet will include the following information:
- Student’s name and roll number
- Name of school and examination center
- Subject-wise marks (Theory and Practical)
- Total marks
- Grade and result status (Pass/Fail/Compartment)
Please note that the online result is only for immediate reference. The original marksheet and certificates will be provided by the school a few weeks after the result is declared.

CBSE provides students with several options if they are not satisfied with their marks:
- Re-evaluation or Verification of Marks
Students can apply for verification of marks to ensure that there was no error in totaling. - Obtaining a Copy of Answer Sheet
If needed, students can also request a photocopy of their evaluated answer sheet. - Re-evaluation of Answer Sheet
If a student feels a particular answer was not correctly evaluated, they can apply for re-evaluation.
All these processes are done online, and CBSE will release a detailed notification soon after the result announcement.
If a student does not pass in one or more subjects, CBSE gives another chance to improve their performance through compartment exams. These exams are usually held in July. The board will release the timetable and details for the compartment exams shortly after the main results are declared.
